HOW IT WORKS

We provide a professional tailored cleaning service in Bristol, Portishead, Clifton, and the surrounding areas, where we will find you the best cleaner to meet your domestic cleaning requirements. We offer a choice of weekly or fortnightly cleans to care for your home when it suits you. Additionally, our services extend to one-off cleaning, covering end-of-tenancy cleans and deep cleans. Beyond cleaning, we provide comprehensive housekeeping, ironing, laundry, and bed-changing services, ensuring every aspect of your home receives meticulous attention.

We pride ourselves on our customer service and will do everything we can to make the process as easy as possible for you. We will book a house visit to discuss your specific cleaning needs, offer advice and support from the start, and listen carefully to what you want.

You will get the same regular domestic cleaner for every clean and can meet them before they start to discuss your requirements. For peace of mind, the cleaner selection process includes ID and right-to-work checks, reference checks, and a one-hour face-to-face interview with the cleaner. We work with many cleaners and we are always thrilled to introduce them to our lovely client. Once you have a household cleaner in place, we will check that everything is meeting your expectations. If not then we will strive to fix it quickly.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do you vet your cleaners?

Time For You perform all cleaner interviews. We check proof of ID, proof  of address and look at their right to work in the UK. We also look at their cleaning experience and perform independent reference checks. Where possible we also speak directly to the referees so we can ask further questions to assess the cleaners suitability.

How quickly can you find me a cleaner?

In most cases you will be introduced to your cleaner within a week of meeting us. The cleaner will then call or text you to arrange a day and time to meet you and get started.

What if I'm not happy with my cleaner for any reason?

Simply let us know of any concerns and we will do all we can to remedy the situation as quickly as possible. Our first solution is naturally to provide feedback, however if this does not remedy the situation we have a large database of approved and vetted domestic cleaners, one of whom should meet your needs perfectly.

Do you have a minimum number of hours?

The minimum number of hours per visit is 2hrs for weekly cleans. Fortnightly cleans depend on property type with a minimum of 3hrs for all houses and 2hrs for smaller flats. We want you to be really happy with the cleaning results and we are happy to work out a cleaning plan to ensure it's as cost effective as possible whilst ensuring the cleaner has enough time to complete your priority tasks.

Do you mind if we have pets?

We love pets and always ask our cleaners if they are happy to work in properties with Cats / Dogs / Birds etc. Many of our existing clients are animal lovers and we're pretty sure we've seen just about every variety of pet there is !

Do you have insurance cover?

We are insured for a minimum of £2 million pounds against the cleaner damaging your property accidentally. Please note, in order to keep your costs as low as possible there is an excess of £100 on all claims.

How long have you been cleaning?

Time For You Domestic Cleaning started operating in Bristol in 2002, John took over the business in January 2022 and cover all areas of Bristol including Clifton, Redland, Portishead and South Gloucestershire.

Who supplies the cleaning products?

The cleaner uses your products and equipment which means you get the products you want used in your home. It also helps to keep the rates as competitive as possible.  

Will I get the same cleaner every week?

Yes you will know who is coming into your home each week and the only time this will change is if you have requested a different cleaner attends.

What tasks will the cleaner normally carry out?

Your cleaner will vacuum, dust, polish, wipe your home is how you want it. They will happily clean the hallway, living & dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and floors. They will also clean interior windows when required. Ironing and most other household duties can also be included.

What does 'typically' mean with regards to the hourly rate?
The rates advertised are typical for central areas and most cleaners. There may be locations or circumstances where the hourly rate is slightly higher to make it viable to place a high quality cleaner.
