How do you vet your cleaners?

As a trusted cleaning company Bristol homeowners rely on, we take great care when selecting our cleaners. Time For You carries out all cleaner interviews, checks proof of ID and address, confirms the right to work in the UK, reviews cleaning experience, and performs independent reference checks. Where possible, we also speak directly with referees to ensure every cleaner meets our high standards.

How quickly can you find me a cleaner?

You will most likely be introduced to your cleaner within a week of meeting us. The cleaner will then call or text you to arrange a day and time to meet you and get started.

What if I'm not happy with my cleaner for any reason?

Your satisfaction is important to us. If you have any concerns, simply let our team know, and we’ll work quickly to resolve the issue. As an experienced cleaning agency that Bristol families trust, we can provide feedback, support, or arrange a replacement cleaner from our network of fully vetted domestic cleaners.

Do you have a minimum number of hours?

The minimum number of hours per visit is 2 hours for weekly cleans. Fortnightly cleans depend on property type, with a minimum of 3 hours for all houses and 2 hours for smaller flats. We want you to be really happy with the cleaning results, and we are happy to work out a cleaning plan to ensure it's as cost-effective as possible, whilst ensuring the cleaner has enough time to complete your priority tasks.

Do you mind if we have pets?

We love pets and always ask our cleaners if they are happy to work on properties with cats, dogs, birds, etc. Many of our existing clients are animal lovers, and we're pretty sure we've seen just about every variety of pet there is!

Do you have insurance coverage?

We are insured for a minimum of £2 million against the cleaner accidentally damaging your property. Please note that, in order to keep your costs as low as possible, there is an excess of £100 on all claims.

How long have you been cleaning?

Time For You Domestic Cleaning started operating in Bristol in 2002. John took over the business in January 2022 and provides cleaners in all areas of Bristol, including Clifton, Redland, Portishead and South Gloucestershire.

Who supplies the cleaning products?

The cleaner uses your products and equipment, which means you get the products you want used in your home. It also helps to keep the rates as competitive as possible.  

Will I get the same cleaner every week?

Yes, you will know who is coming into your home each week, and the only time this will change is if you have requested a different cleaner to attend.

What tasks will the cleaner normally carry out?

Your cleaner will vacuum, dust, polish, and wipe your home is how you want it. They will happily clean the hallway, living room & dining room, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and floors. They will also clean interior windows when required. Ironing and most other household duties can also be included.

What does 'typically' mean with regard to the hourly rate?

The rates advertised are typical for central areas and most cleaners. There may be locations or circumstances where the hourly rate is slightly higher to make it viable to place a high-quality cleaner.
