Each one of the self-employed cleaners are interviewed in their own home. This way we can see for ourselves the cleanliness of their own home. It also gives us an idea of their background and individual circumstances.
We conduct an interview and assess whether the cleaner will pass our stringent 'would we let this person clean our own home' test. At this stage we would also conduct all relevant ID checks. We take up references for all our self-employed cleaners before we allow them onto our database of approved cleaners.
We also ask for regular feedback from our clients to ensure that the cleaning is being completed to the required standards.
Can I meet my cleaner before they start?
Yes, we will invite the cleaner to come and meet you before they start working for you. This gives you an opportunity to see if you feel comfortable with them.
Will I have the same cleaner each week?
Yes. You will get the same dedicated cleaner to do your weekly cleaning. That way you will know who is coming into your home each week and your cleaner will be able to work out a routine with you as to what you would like doing on each visit.
Do I need to be in when the cleaner is working?
No. The cleaners are happy to take a key. Some clients have outside safes fitted. You are able to discuss the best option for you when you meet the cleaner.
When do the house cleans happen?
When we initially discuss your requirements with you we will confirm a preferable day/time with you. We will then arrange for an experienced cleaner who has availability to clean your home.
Do the cleaners bring their own cleaning equipment and cleaning products?
No, we use the products that are in your house. This allows you to choose the quality of the cleaning products and also keep your house smelling the way that YOU want it to. You also know what is safe to use in your own home, and it helps to prevent cross-contamination.
I have pets, is this a problem?
No, we will match you to the best cleaner for your situation. When interviewing cleaners we ask them what animals they are comfortable working with. For example some are happy being in a house with big dogs, some are not.
What happens if I’m not happy with the quality of the work?
We would ask you to communicate this problem to us. We would then discuss your concerns with the cleaner and try to rectify them. Often cleaners may be unaware of an issue. If this was not possible then we would introduce you to another cleaner.
Are my cleans insured against accidental damage?
All our cleans are insured for up to a minimum of £2 million pounds. Please note, in order to keep our charges at a very competitive rate, there is an excess of £100 on all claims for which you would be responsible. The insurance cover is offered in the event of any major incidents of damage.
