How it works

It is our goal to match you with a local and reliable domestic cleaner, who meets your individual cleaning needs. Your personal cleaner, who is carefully vetted by ourselves, will be the same cleaner every time and they will be insured against accidental damage. This should give you complete peace of mind that we have got it right for you.

We offer both Weekly and Fortnightly house cleaning at a time that is convenient for you. We can either visit you in your home to get to know you and understand your house cleaning requirements or, if time is of the essence and you are too busy, we can do it all online to make it super convenient. Whichever way, we will ensure we personalise the service to your specific needs. Once we have understood what you need we can match you to your cleaner and then introduce you whenever you are ready.

If required, your cleaner can also help you with your ironing (at a fraction you would pay to an ironing service) and other household chores.

We are open every day from 9am to 5pm.

Our typical hourly rate for a weekly house clean is £16.50 per hour (minimum of 2 hours per clean).

Our typical hourly rate for a fortnightly house clean is £17.50 per hour (minimum of 3 hours per clean).

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the cleaner employed by Time For You or by me as the client?

The answer is neither. All cleaners introduced by Time For You are self-employed and are registered with HRMC for tax purposes. Once introduced, their cleaning agreement is with you and you retain them on a ‘contract for services’ basis. In essence this makes it very simple for you as a client – if you want your cleaner to clean some shelves one week, but then want them to leave that and do something else the next time that is entirely up to you – just agree it with the cleaner. We never dictate what you should or should not have

If the cleaner is absent, what happens?

We will aim to cover your cleaner for the hours they work - if we cannot do it on the day then we will look at alternatives and agree them with you.

How do I pay you?

You will pay the cleaner on the day in whatever form you have agreed. Time For You will be paid every quarter by standing order. For this we will set you up with a top quality, vetted, and referenced cleaner, manage your account, cover absence, provide insurance and ensure a fabulous clean....every time!

What equipment and products do you use?

The cleaner will use your products and equipment. This promotes consistency and ensures that no additional dust, dirt and grime is transferred in to your property. The only product that we stipulate cannot be used is bleach as our insurance will not cover it, but, as the householder, you can waive that agreement and allow bleach to be used in your property.

The cleaner will speak to you on an ongoing basis about product availability and equipment performance in order to maintain a high standard of clean.

Explain more about the insurance policy.

This insurance is there to cover your cleaner whilst they are in your home up to the value of £2million. Essentially it is there to cover any major accidental damage caused by the cleaner whilst fulfilling their duties.

As with the majority of insurance policies there is an excess payable and with ours this is just £100.

What is a Police check / DBS?

A police check or DBS is a document that can be requested by anyone to show that they do not have a criminal record. We always request that the cleaners we use get one of these in order that we can show our clients that this person is considered trustworthy.
