Time For You Buckinghamshire is Aylesbury’s premier domestic cleaning company. We aim is to provide a local and tailored service to our clients for their housekeeping needs. We have been providing this service in Aylesbury since 2010 and continue to clean hundreds of homes every week.
All cleaners complete an application form, telling us about themselves and their housekeeping and cleaning experience. If we are happy with that, we conduct a telephone interview with applicant. We then arrange to visit applicants at their home address to carry out a face to face interview; this allows us to see the environment they live in and whether they can maintain their own home to a good standard of cleanliness. Whilst we are in their home, we check the information they have already provided plus carry out identify checks and obtain details of their references. Once these checks have been completed, and we would be happy to have them as our cleaner in our own home, will the applicant be added to our database.
I have pets. Is this a problem?
No, when we conduct interviews with our cleaners we check if our cleaners are happy to work in homes with pets and if so, which ones. This ensures that your cleaner knows whether to expect pets when they arrive at your home.
Do you have a minimum number of hours?
Yes, the minimum number of hours per visit is 2 hours for a weekly and 3 hours for a fortnightly.
Do I have the opportunity to meet my cleaner before they start?
Yes, of course, we feel it is important for both our clients and the cleaners. Our cleaners will arrange a suitable time to visit you before the first clean if required, to discuss your needs in person and discuss access arrangements. Other clients are happy for the cleaner to simply on the day of the first clean to meet them and discuss their needs, and then complete the first full clean following this.
Do I need to be in when the cleaner is working?
No, many of our clients are not at home during the clean and prefer to give their cleaner access to a key.
Will I have the same cleaner each clean?
Yes, you will be introduced to a cleaner that will be dedicated to you each clean. This allows your cleaner to become familiar with your requirements and to be able to rotate tasks within your home if required.
What if I’m not happy my cleaner?
Let us know of any concerns and we will do all we can to improve the. Our first solution is to provide feedback to the cleaner. However, if this does not resolve the situation, we have a large database of approved and vetted domestic cleaners that we can introduce you to, one of whom should meet your requirements perfectly.
What tasks will my cleaner do for me?
With your own dedicated cleaner for each clean you are able to specify which cleaning jobs are done on a regular basis and which tasks can be done on a rotational basis, so you can vary the tasks as and when required. Your cleaner will do the usual tasks such as dusting, polishing, floors, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, as well as ironing in your home and bed linen changing. They can do most other household chores within your home and will be happy to work with you to meet your requirements.
So, I can ask for help with ironing?
Yes, you can. This is a common request from a number of our clients. Any ironing will be completed within the allotted weekly hours, at the same hourly rate, in your home; and the ironing can be either left out or put away.
Do I provide the cleaning products?
Yes, your dedicated cleaner will use your cleaning products and equipment, to include your vacuum, mop, sprays and cloths, etc. This means your cleaner uses the products that you prefer, and also prevents any cross-contamination issues if a cleaner was to use these items in other homes.
Do you have insurance cover?
Yes, there is insurance for up to a minimum of £2 million. Please note, in order to keep our charges at a competitive rate, there is an excess of £100 on all claims. The insurance cover is offered in the event of any major incidents of damage.
Is there a contract?
Yes, initially for 13 weeks, thereafter a one month rolling basis.
