A. We are Time For You Northamptonshire and have been selecting fabulous cleaners for our clients since 2003! Our aim is to provide a local, personalised and tailored professional service to our clients, for their housekeeping and cleaning needs. We currently provide this service to hundreds of homes every single week and are very experienced at what we do!
A. Very thoroughly and very carefully as two members of our staff are Ex-Police Officers! All cleaners initially complete a detailed application form, telling us all about them and their housekeeping and cleaning experience and what qualities and skills they possess. We will conduct telephone interviews with applicants that show enough potential at this stage, where many fail. We will then arrange to visit applicants at their HOME ADDRESS following a telephone interview if we are happy with their performance. The home visit part of our selection process is key to making the right selection. It allows us to see the standards and values that they live by and also allows us to get to know them personally. During this stage we conduct a face to face interview with the applicant, checking exactly what experience they have, and complete comprehensive security checks on the applicant, as well as obtaining details of their references, which we fully check. Only after all of those checks have been completed will the applicant be added to our database; and we would be happy to have them as our cleaner in our own homes!
Q. I have pets. Is this a problem?
A. Not at all! When we conduct interviews with our cleaners, we cover a whole range of topics, which includes pets. We check if our cleaners are happy to work in homes with dogs, cats, rabbits, snakes, spiders and just about any other animal that you can think of! This ensures that your cleaner knows exactly what to expect and you are perfectly matched from the outset. In fact some of our cleaners request homes with pets!
Q. Can I meet my cleaner before they start?
A. Absolutely! Many of our clients are busy working professionals and request their cleaner holds a key on their behalf. Our cleaners are always happy to come and visit you before the first clean. In fact we have found that cleans get off to a great start if the client meets their cleaner beforehand, we call it our 'meet and greet'. At the meet and greet you can discuss your cleaning needs in person and discuss access arrangements. It's also a great opportunity to get to know your selected cleaner. Other clients are happy for the cleaner to simply arrive a short time earlier on the day of the first clean to meet them and discuss their cleaning requirements and then complete the first clean following this. The choice is yours!
Q. Will I have the same cleaner each week?
A. Absolutely! We don't believe in sending a different person each week. Our whole ethos is that you will be introduced to a vetted cleaner that will be dedicated to you each week. This allows you to build up trust and a good relationship with your cleaner and ensures that they work more efficiently providing consistency. Your cleaner will get to know your home and work under their own initiative if you would like them to.
Q. What happens if my cleaner goes on holiday or is ill?
A. One of the reasons clients love our service is because of our cleaner replacement service. If your cleaner can't clean we will send one of our vetted cleaners to clean at a time convenient to you. We will always check and confirm you are happy for a replacement before we send someone to clean.
Q. Can I book for extra cleans?
A. Yes absolutely, we are here to make your life easier. If you need extra cleaning and ironing tackling just call the office and we will deal with the rest.
Q. What tasks will my cleaner do for me?
A. Pretty much anything you want them to (within reason!). Standard requests are for general floor cleaning, surface cleaning and polishing as required as well as general room cleaning, to include the kitchen and bathrooms. Some clients request different tasks such as ironing, bed making, bed changing, putting clothes washes on, doing washing up, sorting food cupboards for out of date products and pretty much everything else you can think of....the list is endless!
Q. So can I ask for help with ironing?
A. You certainly can! This is a popular request from a lot of our clients. Any ironing will be completed within the allotted weekly hours at your home. We can even put the ironing away for you, fold it in a particular way, whatever you require. Many of our clients have switched to our ironing service as it's less hassle than taking it to the dry cleaners or waiting in for a collection and delivery service. Probably the most important feature is that we use your coat hangers and not the wire ones used by other providers. Whatever you require we can deliver, just let us know how you would like your ironing to be done!
Q. Who supplies the cleaning products?
A. Your dedicated cleaner will use your cleaning products, to include your vacuum, mop, sprays and cloths etc. This is to ensure that your home smells exactly how you want it to, with the products you prefer and most importantly prevents any cross contamination issues between addresses that your cleaner operates within.
Q. What if I'm not happy with the quality of work?
A. We will always contact you after the first clean to ensure that all has gone to your complete satisfaction. In the unlikely event that you are not fully satisfied, we will initially try and resolve this with feedback to your cleaner as long as you are happy with this course of action. If you decide that you would prefer to be introduced to a new cleaner with immediate effect, then with our ever growing large database of fully vetted cleaners, this would not be a problem.
