Each of our cleaners has been interviewed in their own home, photographic ID and address checked plus they will have provided at least two quality references.
How do you select and vet your cleaners?
In short very carefully. Should an applicant pass a telephone interview we will arrange an appointment to interview the cleaner in their own home. As part of this meeting we will check their photographic identification, proof of address and request two references. Only after these checks will they be introduced as a cleaner.
Will I have the same cleaner each week?
Certainly, having the same cleaner ensures consistency in the high standard of cleaning and the knowledge that the same person is in your home each time.
Do I meet the cleaner before their first clean?
Yes as part of the startup process, you will meet the cleaner before the first scheduled clean to discuss the cleaning tasks so they know exactly what your specific requirements are.
What kind of work/tasks can the cleaner perform?
Your cleaner can perform the tidying, dusting, polishing, hoovering, floor cleaning, as well as ironing, making beds and the washing up!.
Who supplies the cleaning products/equipment?
The cleaners will use your cleaning products and equipment to perform the tasks you specify. In this way you know what products are being used in your home and no cross-contamination can occur from other households.
What happens if my cleaner goes on holiday or is sick?
Depending on the situation your cleaner may clean on an alternative day/time, add more hours to future cleans or we can organise a temporary replacement.
I have a pet, will that matter?
We have cleaned in houses with various exotic pets such as meerkats, a skunk and also reptiles. Of course for the most part its usually cats and dogs and we will make sure your cleaner is comfortable around your pets.
How do I pay her?
You can discuss the payment method when you meet your cleaner before the first clean. Typically they are paid on the day of the clean by either cash but typically bank transfer (covid safe).
What if I am not happy with the standard of the clean?
We will always contact you after the first clean for your feedback. Any points raised are discussed directly with your cleaner as long as you are happy with this course of action. However if you decide that you would prefer to be introduced to a new cleaner with immediate effect, then this would not be a problem.
