We are ‘Time For You’ Domestic Cleaning - since July 2004, we have delivered a professional, tailored cleaning service to hundreds of private households across Harrogate, Knaresborough, Ripon and many villages across the HG postcode area.
The company owners always carry out a thorough vetting process, including telephone and face-to-face interviews, identity, address and reference checking; if in any doubt, they reject!
Will I have the same cleaner each week?
Apart from the odd occasion when your cleaner is ill or on holiday, you will have a dedicated cleaner - this enables you to build a good working relationship and provides you with much more consistency, efficiency and security than having to manage different workers.
Can I meet my cleaner before they start?
Absolutely! Cleaners are happy to come and visit you, if necessary on an evening or at the weekend, to make sure you are completely comfortable before work begins.
When do the house cleans happen?
At an agreed regular time, typically between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday - cleaners also need time off on evenings and weekends.
Do I need to be in when the cleaner is working?
No - most clients are busy with work/recreation and therefore choose to provide their dedicated cleaner with a key, but it’s absolutely your choice.
What will the cleaner typically do for me?
Your cleaner will work through your list of rooms and tasks in an order of priority agreed with you. This typically means thoroughly cleansing the kitchen, bathrooms and toilet; vacuuming; dusting and polishing. Some clients also request tasks such as washing up, changing the beds and ironing.
Do the cleaners bring their own cleaning equipment and cleaning products?
Some of our cleaners will offer to provide equipment and/or materials, although in our experience most clients prefer to provide their own - so they can control the chemicals used in their home and avoid cross-contamination by mobile vacuum cleaners used in multiple houses.
I have pets, is this a problem?
Not at all! Our vetting process checks whether a cleaner is allergic or uncomfortable with pets - we only introduce you to cleaners who are suitable for your property and all its occupants.
What happens if I’m not happy with the quality of the work?
We would try and resolve any problem with your cleaner, however should this not be possible you can request a permanent replacement from our large database of vetted cleaners.
Are my cleans insured against damage?
Yes - the insurance covers damage caused by the cleaner’s negligence up to a maximum of 2 million pounds. Thankfully, our claims record suggests we have careful cleaners!
