Weekly / fortnightly cleans  have a minimum of just two hours each visit.  Fortnightly cleans are available Monday - Thursday only.

It is extremely hard to find and keep a good reliable cleaner. What do you do differently?

We are continuously looking for excellent cleaners for our clients.

Each applicant fills in an initial form detailing their experience and contact details. We do an initial interview over the phone and find that many fail at this point. Successful applicants are then visited in their own homes by us, where they face a second, more in-depth interview and full vetting procedure under strict Time For You guidelines. At this stage we get to know potential cleaners personally, their skills, qualities, how they clean their own home and the standards they live by. In this face to face interview, we go through their experience, references and all security checks fully. Only when, and if, we are fully confident and satisfied that we would have the applicant clean and care for our own home, do we add them to our database.

Finding and retaining excellent, honest and dependable domestic cleaners is core to our client satisfaction.

You will know that each and every home cleaner has been personally visited by us, vetted and interviewed in their own home, have a minimum of two quality references and will have been police checked* for your total peace of mind.

It is our job to find the right match for you and we take great pride in this!

We are always available for any concern or question you may have and look after your cleaner - so you don't have to. Time For You not only gives you some of your precious time back, but also the reassurance in knowing that someone is always here for you, working in the background, making sure things run smoothly. We strongly believe that this is the difference that Time For You can bring to your home.

Do I get to meet my cleaner before they start?

Your cleaner can come and meet you before hand to discuss your requirements and to see if you are happy with them coming into your home and cleaning for you. Alternatively, you could have the cleaner come a short time earlier on the first day of the clean to go through your cleaning requirements and any questions you may have before they start. Once they know what you require of them, they can then complete the first clean to your satisfaction and know what is expected of them each time. The choice is yours.

What tasks will the cleaner actually do for me?

Most jobs will involve general household cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping the floors, cleaning the kitchen and bathroom. They can assist with any household chores you require. The list is endless (within reason!) and is entirely up to you. Your home cleaner will prioritise, alternate or rotate tasks, whatever it takes to meet your requirements in the time given. If you need more hours, simply give us a call.

Will I have the same cleaner each week?

Absolutely! We will introduce you to a cleaner that works for you each and every week. This allows you to build up trust and a good relationship with your home cleaner and ensures that they work more efficiently week by week, rotate tasks within your home and can work under their own initiative if you would like them to. Cover cleaners are available on request if your regular cleaner is on holiday.

Are my cleans insured against accidental damage?

Yes, every single clean is insured. The excess is £100 as the insurance is in place to cover more expensive damage accidently caused during the clean.

What about pets?

No problem, we always ask each cleaner if they are happy to work in homes with various pets and know which ones they like!

Who supplies the cleaning products?

Your cleaner will use your cleaning products, including vacuum, spray bottles, mops and cloths. This helps to keep costs down and you will have the same familiar smells and know that your cleaner is using any sensitive or eco products that you and your family are used too. Most importantly, this prevents any cross contamination issues between different addresses your cleaner operates within. As you can appreciate, for health and safety reasons, your cleaner cannot use a ladder or stand on a chair to reach up. We politely ask if you can supply your cleaner with a long handled duster for those higher up jobs around your home.

Can the cleaner come in for just one hour a day?

Unfortunately, as they have to travel to and from your home for each clean, any money they earn would be swallowed up in travel expenses if they done just a one hour clean. That is why we have a minimum of two hours per visit and appreciate your understanding on this.

Can my cleaner be a key holder?

When you provide access to your property, you may choose to give a spare key to your home  cleaner. Ideally, you might have a key safe discreetly placed on your property to which you can give the cleaner an access code. Many of our clients request that the cleaner holds a key and does all or much of the cleaning while they get on with their busy lives.

What if I am not happy with the cleaner or the quality of the cleaning?

We always contact you after the first clean to see if everything is up to your expectations. In the unlikely event that you are not fully satisfied, we will usually be able to resolve this with feedback to your cleaner as long as you are happy with this course of action. If you decide that you would prefer to be introduced to a new cleaner - this would not be a problem. We are always working in the background, making sure things run smoothly. How soon can you find me a cleaner?

We are continuously looking for excellent cleaners for our clients. We endeavour to introduce a cleaner and get them started within a week of meeting you, but this can depend to a great extent as to where you live and how many hours you require. If we already have the ideal cleaner, with the hours available, we could introduce you straight away.

The most important thing is finding the right cleaner for you. Whatever the situation, we will keep you informed at all times.
