Will I have the same cleaner every week?
Yes, you will have the same regular cleaner. Unless we have to introduce a
cover cleaner for any reason.
What jobs are the cleaners happy to do?
Cleaners are happy to do any general cleaning tasks and ironing if required.
Individual cleaners may also be happy to carry out other related tasks as
long as they are safe and reasonable.
Can I specify the cleaning day or the specific times of my clean?
We will introduce a cleaner with availability on the specific day you would like,
but timings would depend on the cleaners openings for that day.
If you want a fortnightly clean, you may not be able to specify the day as cleaners
tend to fit these jobs into existing schedules.
Do I provide the equipment and cleaning materials?
Normally the cleaner will use your cleaning materials and equipment. Should the
cleaner supply products and equipment, she will probably charge a higher hourly rate.
Do you offer a monthly service?

Minimum booking of 3 hours.
Quarterly management fee of £45.
The work is covered by our insurance against accidental damage and public liability.

Do you offer a One Off cleaning service?
Yes, the rates are detailed below:
Cleaners rate typically £15 per hour.
Minimum booking of 3 hours.
Arrangement fee of £50.
The work is covered by our insurance against accidental damage and public liability.
The cleaning products and equipment are normally provided by you, but can be provided by the cleaners if required.

What is the minimum amount of time that a cleaner will do?
Our minimum clean is for 2 hours. Unfortunately, It is not worth a cleaners while
to travel to and from your property just to just do 1 hour. For this reason we
offer a fortnightly service.
Do I need to be in when the cleaner calls?
No not at all, many clients are working or use the time to do other things. Our elderly
and disabled clients tend to be home when their cleaner calls. So cleaners are happy in
either case.
What do I do about giving the cleaner keys?
You are responsible for providing the cleaner access to your property, so you may choose to
give a spare key to the cleaner for which we are happy to provide you with a key release form.
We would recommend that you have a key safe discreetly placed on the property to which you
can give the cleaner an access code.
How is the cleaner paid?
You pay the rate agreed with your cleaner when the work is completed to your satisfaction.
What happens if I don’t need the cleaner to come?
You are not required to pay your cleaner if they are not needed on a particular week, if for
instance you are on holiday. The Time For You Management Fee however is not refundable if
this occurs.
What if I am not happy with the quality of the cleaners work?
As the cleaner is self-employed, they are responsible for the standard of work that they deliver.
Occasionally the cleaning standard of the cleaner does not meet the expectations of the client.
However, just let us know if you are not happy for any reason and we will help you to rectify the situation.
What do you do when my cleaner is absent?
We will provide a substitute cleaner for planned absences provided that we have had 2 weeks notice
and will refund our fees for the period of absence, if we fail to introduce another cleaner.
When the absence is short notice, we will endeavour to find cover and provided that we are given
at least 48 hrs notice.
Do you have insurance?
Yes, we carry insurance for both accidental damage to your property and public liability.
How do you vet the cleaners?
Our vetting procedure is very comprehensive and has been refined over many years of business.
Each prospective cleaner has a thorough telephone interview, to ensure that they meet our criteria.
After which successful cleaners are then always interviewed in their own home.
This allows us to confirm that:
The cleaners own standard of cleaning in their own home, which from experience provides a good indication of their work quality.
That the cleaners are who they say they are, and live at the address they have given.
We also insist on two forms of proof of identity and proof of residence and two references, one of which that is work related.
We ask all prospective cleaners to have a current Police check and be registered as self-employed
with HMRC or be willing to do so within 3 months.
References are then followed up, before a cleaner is introduced to any prospective clients.
In addition to this you will always meet your cleaner, prior to any work commencing.
How much do you charge for regular weekly cleaning?

What is the notice period for your service?
3 months initially and then just 1 months written notice applies.
What do I pay the Management Fee for?
As you can see from the vetting process, we provide the knowledge and experience to help you
avoid many of the problems with finding a suitable cleaner for your home. One who is trustworthy,
reliable and with the relevant experience to provide a service that your are happy to pay for.
We are able to communicate with cleaners on your behalf and provide cover for those inevitable
periods of absence caused by illness, holidays or the cleaner leaving. Also providing insurance
cover in the unlikely event any of the cleaners we introduce cause damage to you or your property.
We aim to help you mitigate much of the stress that can be involved in having your home cleaned,
allowing you to enjoy more time for you.
