How do you select your cleaners?
Very carefully! All potential cleaners are interviewed in their own home so we can see for ourselves the standards and values that they live by. During this face to face interview we find out what housekeeping and cleaning experience they have and find out more about the qualities and skills they possess. We also complete comprehensive security checks including identity confirmation and address validity.
We reference check the cleaners we have met and interviewed, as we want you to have high quality home domestic services. We want you to be relaxed in the knowledge that your cleaner will leave your home spotless. Therefore, throughout our selection process we are always assessing whether the applicant would pass our most stringent test - would we be happy to have the applicant as a cleaner in our own home? Only if the answer is yes, and they have passed the above checks, are the best domestic cleaners added to our database.
Can I meet my home cleaner before they start?
Yes. Placing the right cleaner with our clients is of prime importance. Remember our aim is to ensure that you receive super cleaning services with top rated cleaners. We will get to know you and your house cleaning requirements so we can pick a cleaner to suit you from our extensive list of experienced cleaners.
You will be able to meet and approve your cleaner before they start so we can make sure you are both comfortable with each other and you are 100% happy. At the meeting you can also discuss your bespoke cleaning needs and discuss access arrangements.
Will I have the same cleaner each week?
Definitely! It is our policy to introduce you to a reliable, trustworthy and efficient cleaner dedicated to your household cleaning needs - the same person for each clean.
We will introduce a cleaner who will be dedicated to your regular clean so they can become familiar with your home and your requirements. This allows you to build up trust and a good relationship with your cleaner and means you can rotate tasks within your home or let the cleaner work under their own initiative.
We find that having your own bespoke cleaner who provides your regular cleaning services suits many of our clients e.g. busy working professionals who may need their cleaner to hold a key on their behalf, clients who may need dependable cleaning services for elderly parents.
What tasks will my cleaner normally carry out?
Your household cleaner will do all the usual vacuuming, dusting, polishing, kitchen and bathroom cleaning. They will do most other general household cleaning within your home at your request and will be happy to tailor a package to meet your exact requirements. You buy the right amount of time to do the tasks you want completed whether this is general cleaning, changing bed linen, emptying bins, cleaning inside the fridge or microwave, sorting food cupboards for out-of-date products. The list (within reason) is endless. The choice is yours.
By having your own dedicated cleaner you will be able to specify which household cleaning jobs are done on a regular basis and which jobs are done on a rotational basis. As a bespoke cleaning service you can vary the tasks as and when required.
What about ironing?
"I am fed up with ironing my shirts! I need someone to clean my house and do my ironing."
Is this a familiar nightmare? Well it does not have to be. We can introduce you to a cleaner who will carry out all aspects of interior domestic cleaning and provide ironing services too! Ironing is a common request from our clients. Any ironing will be completed within the allocated hours at your home and the ironing can be either left out, or put away wherever you want.
Who supplies the cleaning materials?
Your house keeper will use your cleaning products and equipment including vacuum, mop, cloths, sprays, polish, etc. This ensures that your preferred products are used which is particularly important if anyone in the house suffers from allergies or your furniture or floors need particular products. It will also keep your costs low and eliminate cross-contamination between different addresses e.g. when vacuum cleaners are transported from house to house. Many of our clients prefer this knowing that their house after the professional household clean will be spotless and smell exactly how they want it to.

Do you have a minimum number of hours?
Yes. Our minimum number of hours for a clean is two hours. But we can offer flexibility so that you can ensure that your package offers affordable domestic cleaning. Each client's needs vary and different cleaning schedules can be organised. For example daily or weekly cleaning schedules can be arranged. You choose the preferred day (or days of the week) and also the time you want your cleaner.
Do you have insurance cover?
Insurance for each clean is included as standard and our domestic cleaning services are backed by a trusted and professional insurance service.
This gives you peace of mind that you will be covered should expensive damage be accidentally caused during the clean - you almost certainly won't ever need this, but it is nice to know it is there just in case.
Do I give the cleaner a key?
This is completely at your discretion. Some householders are at home during the clean; some give a key after a month or so and some give a key on the day of the first clean. It is totally up to you and what you are comfortable with.
What if I am not happy with the quality of work or my cleaning person?
We will always contact you after the second clean to make sure that everything has gone to your complete satisfaction. In the unlikely event that you are not fully satisfied, we will endeavour to resolve this with feedback to your cleaner as long as you are happy with this course of action. If you decide that you would prefer to be introduced to a new cleaner straight away then this would not be a problem.
We want you to continue to receive quality domestic cleaning. If you were ever less than completely satisfied with our service, please simply call our local office and we will gladly remedy the situation because we only want the best for you, our client.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your domestic cleaner we will do all we can to find a home cleaner who is right for you.
Similarly if your private cleaner terminates we will find a replacement quality cleaner for you as quickly as possible.
