Bexleyheath Kent is a located in the South East London of England.  According to the 2001 Census, the borough has a population of 218,307 – of whom 105,148 are male, and 113,159 female. Just 12 miles east-southeast of Charing Cross, makes this a favourable place to live for those that commute into London for work and social evenings, there is plenty to do in Bexleyheath it is a large bustling town centre which is pedestrianised, there are many shops located in the Broadway Town Centre, at night there is a range of nightlife for all ages from night clubs to a state of the art bingo club, a 9 screen cinemas and a good choice restaurants.  

Danson Park is located in Bexleyheath within the park you will find Danson House a Grade I-listed Georgian mansion it stands in the centre of the park, the landscape was designed and laid out between 1761 and 1763, it is now utilised for weddings and social functions, the is a café and they offer guided tours. The park also has a pub/ restaurant, The Danson Stables Pub with a beautiful courtyard and a secret back garden, which I have never found, the building is a grade 2 star listed building which belongs to the Mansion House in the park.  

Other Features of Danson Park consists of:

• The Charter Oak tree is over 200 years old and is a large oak tree in the centre of Mid Park which has been recognised as one of the "Great Trees of London".
• Beautiful gardens including the Old English Garden, Rock Garden and Peace Garden 
•  A large lake for fishing, boating, sailing
• A busy playground including wet play splash area
• The Boat House by the lake also used for functions.
• Saturday park run a fantastic chance to get those steps in for good health.
