Working With Time For You

Your Pay and Hours

  • The rate is agreed with the homeowner – and they’ll pay you within 24 hours of your clean. The client supplies all the cleaning products and any equipment needed.
  • You choose the hours you want to work – and we match you to the clients that fit around your life.
  • You can build your hours as you demonstrate the quality of your cleaning, reliability and the excellent level of service you provide to your clients.
  • You can work as little or as much as you like with us! 

The set up

  • The work will entail high quality cleaning, which will include dusting, polishing and hoovering, mopping, bed making (if required), ironing (if required but not essential).
  • You’ll visit the same client(s) every week/fortnight – this works well for our cleaners. This way you’ll build a routine, get to know the property and build trust with the homeowner.
  • You’ll be expected to manage your own workload. For example - if you’re unable to make an occasional clean, then you’d contact your client and reschedule – rather than cancel. This not only provides a consistent service and maintains a regular income – but it also builds trust with the client.

What Is Important To Us

  • This needs to be a long term, ongoing commitment - not a stop gap.
  • Reliability is essential - if you’re not reliable, clients will ask for someone else, which will reduce your hours. We don’t work with unreliable people.
  • Clear communication - we ask that you communicate clearly with us and your clients. Lack of or slow responses to queries or questions means the opportunity for work will decrease. Prompt and clear communication is one of the most valued qualities we appreciate in our cleaners.
  • Honesty - goes without saying! If you have a police or DBS check, we ask to see a copy that is dated within the last two years. If you don’t already have one, we ask if you would be willing to apply for one at a one-off cost to you of £25.00. We can show you how to apply for one – which will increase the opportunity to work with more clients we can introduce you to. Our clients often ask for a police check for peace of mind.

I have been part of the Time For You cleaning services since last September after taking early retirement.
