By personalised we mean you choose what tasks you would like to be completed and in what order so this might be squeaky clean in every room or a spring clean in one particular room. Of course it's all dependent on time so we will endeavour to work to your priorities.

Make contact with us now to discuss your specific cleaning requirements!

We will….

• Introduce you to a reliable, experienced, vetted and referenced house cleaner

• Provide you with a home cleaning and ironing service tailored to your needs

• Provide you with the same cleaner on each visit

• Endeavour to provide you with a cover cleaner if yours is on holiday (on request)

We have insurance in place, so every clean is insured and extra hours can be arranged if you have a special function or need extra help at a particular time.

What makes a great cleaner?

What makes a great cleaner?

Phil Hunt Owner and Manager of Time for You Swansea  takes time to explain.

I have often been asked the question “What makes a good cleaner?” In short, the answer is similar to if the question had been “What makes a good friend?”, or “What makes someone a nice person?”. I spent 22 years dedicating my working life to the police and I think this is qualification alone to be a good judge of character...I’ve seen a few.

The obvious answer includes being trustworthy and honest. You are after all trusting your cleaner with access to your home! You need to be sure whomever you trust will do their job honestly and with integrity.

You also need to know a cleaner is reliable. You grow to depend upon a person being there at a certain time every week and remaining consistent. That’s as it should be. Leading on to the next characteristic of being punctual and a good time keeper. That is not to say just showing up on time, but organising themselves effectively during the clean to work efficiently. It sounds simple but in a busy modern world it is often easier said than done.

So is being trustworthy, reliable and punctual enough? I’d say what sets a great cleaner apart is the ability to combine these competencies with having great personable skills. A truly attentive cleaner who takes pride in what they do.

Some say I have high standards - I say this is the only standard. I take pride in ensuring all our cleaners are vetted, not only with police checks but to make sure they are the best cleaners we can offer. We respect them for the work they do and the delight and dignity with which they do it makes them the ultimate cleaning professionals.

We look for all of these qualities when we recruit.

Fridge smells!

This is a short article on dealing with those nasty, always hanging around, fridge smells.

1.  This is the most obvious one. Is there something lurking at the back of a shelf somewhere that has gone off? Have a good look and get rid of anything that is mouldy.

2.  It's always a good idea to regularly empty your fridge and wash down the shelves and the walls with a solution made up of around a tablespoon of bicarbonate of soda mixed into warm water.

3.  Put some baking soda onto a plate and leave it in the fridge. This will help to deal with anything that is still in the air itself.

4.  Find the drainage hole and make sure it is not blocked with anything. It will likely be right at the bottom and at the back (inside obviously).

5.  Milk that has leaked anywhere, including your fridge, can be an absolute nightmare. As it goes off over time it literally creates a right stink! Recently I followed all of the above steps and still couldn't find the issue. Eventually the only course of action left open to me was to carefully pour a little bleach down the drain hole. I had recently had a milk spillage in the fridge and I suspected some of it was festering in the drip tray behind/under the fridge. This immediately helped and some normality returned!
