Here at Time For You we pride ourselves on delivering a personal service for your domestic cleaning needs.  Our aim is to make the process as straightforward as possible and there are no long forms to fill out.  A phone call or email to us and a short visit from us, is all it takes to get you started with your own Time For you Cleaner.  Here are some quick FAQs to help you decide if Time For You is right for you...

Q. How much does it cost ?

A. £11.95 per hour for weekly cleans ,£13.95 per hour for fortnightly cleans (minimum of 2 hours )

Q.Who will be cleaning my house?

A. We personally interview and reference check all the cleaners we introduce to our clients.  We have a strict set of criteria for those we allow to work with our clients because we look for certain important things, such as reliability and a professional attitude towards the job. We make a point of interviewing cleaners for suitability within their own homes to check personal standards and all cleaners are reference checked and as well as police checked*. You can be sure that whoever we introduce you to will be someone you can have confidence in.

Q. How quick can you get a cleaner arranged?

A. A cleaner can be arranged very quickly for you! We do try to match you with a cleaner that fits your specific requirements though so this can sometimes take a little longer. Typically, we should have you up and running within 7 days (10 days at most) and usually most clients have met their cleaner within two to three days of signing up.

Q. Would I get the same cleaner each week?

A. Yes.  This way your cleaner will get to know your requirements and your home to make the best use of the time they are there.

Q. How do I pay my cleaner?

A. The cleaner will charge you directly.  You can pay either by cash or cheque.

Q. What if I am not happy with my cleaner?

Simply let us know and we will sort something out for you - we have many excellent cleaners on hand to introduce you to. We would rather you let us know and we introduce you to the perfect cleaner for you.

Q. Is there a minimum number of hours for a clean?

A. Yes, two hours is our minimum.  This allows the cleaner the best opportunity to leave your home sparkling!

Q. Are you insured?

A. Yes! We are insured up to £2million. (Please note that to keep prices competitive there is an excess of £100.00 on all claims.)

Q. Who supplies the cleaning products?

Your cleaner will use your products that you have available in your home. This keeps our prices down but also means the cleaner is using only products that you would want in your home. This caters to our clients individual tastes as e.g. some clients are very environmentally aware, some clients don't like certain cleaning product smells etc. It also ensures only the correct products are used in your home for special items e.g.antique furniture or marble worktops.

AKA: Killie

Population: 46,350 (15th most populated place in Scotland)

Attractions: The town has some excellent cultural attractions, most notably the galleries and museum at the Dick Institute, the Palace Theatre and Grand Hall, and Dean Castle Country Park. The Burns Monument Centre is set within Kay Park and dedicated to local archives and ancestoral history.

Killie FC

Kilmarnock Football Club or ‘Killie’, are the oldest professional club in Scotland. The club has won many honours since its formation in 1869, most recently the 2011–12 Scottish League Cup.   Playing from Rugby Park, an 18,128 capacity all seater stadium – the club’s unofficial song ‘Paper Roses’ (most famously released by Marie Osmand) has become a fan favourite over the years.  A fact which lead the superstar to visit Rugby Park in 2009, where Marie was quoted as declaring herself as ‘a forever Killie girl’.

The club have qualified for European competitions on nine occasions.  Killie's biggest rivalry is with their South Ayrshire neighbours Ayr United and together they contest in the Ayrshire Derby. The fixture has been played 255 times since their first meeting on 14 September 1910. Killie have won on 189 occasions.

Killie Pie

“Say aye to a Killie pie!” – the mantra of the famous Kilmarnock Pie.  A Kilmarnock pie (formerly Killie Pie) is a steak and gravy pie produced by Brownings the Bakers of Kilmarnock. The pie has won a vast number of awards including best savoury pie in Scotland two years running as well as picking up the best pie in Scottish football. The pie was created in 2003, initially for Kilmarnock Football Club and sold at their stadium for 13 years. These days can be found in Brownings shops as well as Aldi, SPAR and selected Scotmid stores, spreading the Kilmarnock name all over the country.

Johnnie Walker

Johnnie Walker is a brand of Scotch whisky originating in our lovely Kilmarnock.  It is the most widely distributed brand of blended Scotch whisky in the world, sold in almost every country, with annual sales of over 130 million bottles.  Established in 1819, the iconic whisky was made and sold in John Walker’s grocery business in Kilmarnock.  Passed through generations of the Walker family – Walker’s Old Highland Blend, Red Label and Black Label soon became worldwide best sellers.  The famous ‘striding man’ figure has remained a key piece of the brand’s imagery, with bottling of the Johnnie Walkers whisky continuing in Kilmarnock right up to 2012.  Although no longer manufactured in Kilmarnock, Johnnie Walkers whisky will always be synonymous with the town.

Killie Halloween

October 31 is synonymous worldwide with being Halloween...unless you’re from Killie that is!  The citizens of Kilmarnock have long celebrated the holiday on the last Friday of the month, though you’ll be hard pushed to find anyone in the town who can tell you why.  Various myths have circled the town dating back to when witches were burned at the stake – the practice was halted on a Friday because that was when the cattle markets were held. The most popular explanation is the theory that pay day in the industrial town was historically a Friday – plausible but surely not confined to Kilmarnock I hear you say?  Regardless of reasoning, Killie Halloween continues to be quirk of the town, still celebrated to this day.

Random Fact

Rock band Biffy Clyro were formed in the town in a primary school in the mid-1990s.

David Durham joined HBSA in 2009 after the move to Crosshouse and has been a regular ever since with his Thursday teatime show as well as extra appearances whenever he can find the time. Dave always finds time to present a show on Xmas day which is something that a lot of our presenters try to do. A massive ice hockey fan Dave can often be found following the Braehead Clan and in between broadcasting we hear that Dave enjoys his hobby of domestic appliance repair (that’s a private joke – please don’t call him to mend the washing machine!!). Dave’s Sports – Talk show is not only popular on air but also has quite a following on social media too as “followers” join in with his “Dirty Dozen” football predictions challenge in which he attempts to (and usually succeeds) in out foxing HBSA’s Jingleman.
